REKINDLED

KINDLE

Away, for too long I have been.
Back now, awkward and out place is how I feel.
Hard dying, old habits are it would seem.
Like riding, back on the word saddle I sit.

Away, for too long other dreams I have chased.
Away, to a faraway place I paced.
Looking to fill up the empty space,
But nothing else could take my words your place.

Away for far too long, I had forgotten,
The enjoyment that comes from a word written.
The joy and excitement from a reading.
Now pen on my paper this love is rekindled.
